Event description
The 2nd UIC World High Speed Interaction Workshop on the maintenance of high speed rail systems will provide an opportunity for operators and infrastructure managers to exchange experience and best practices for maintaining railways with speeds of 250 km/h or more, and allow potential HSR operators to learn from their experienced colleagues. Sessions on the first two days will include technical presentations on the performance and maintenance of sub-systems such as rolling stock, civil works, permanent way, signalling & communications, together with benchmarking and sharing best practice. The third day will include a technical visit to high speed railway maintenance facilities.
