The current main production portfolio is the manufacture of railway and tramway, mine and field turnouts and their parts, which has almost fifty years tradition in Czech Republic. It incorporates our own design development of the turnouts and their service throughout the period of life and the turnout trackwork regeneration as well.

As to the branch of the railway turnouts, the basic series of the UIC60 turnout trackwork were designed and the vast reconstruction and modernization of the S49 turnouts series design was carried out.  Besides the turnouts made of basic rail sections UIC60 and S49, the DT offers further section as well (sections R65, EB 50, UIC54 for instances). The DT developed within the framework of the development and research activity the turnout for high speed trains, operated up to the speed of 350 kph. The increased effort is focused into application of the high tension and wear resistant steels and into application of perliting processing of most stressed turnout parts.

On the field of the turnout development and manufacture designed for the city tramway transport the effort of the company is focused towards the new generation of the turnouts, where the application of up-to-date design elements, new materials and technology enhancing the quality and the life period can be found.  Besides the turnouts within the basic rail sections NT1 and NT3 the DT offers in their projects the turnouts made of sections Ph37, Ri59, Ri60, Ri60N and RiNP4 as well.  The persistent care is devoted to the development of Rail Boxes and the Electric Control Cases as well.

The DT – Plant Pointworks and Engineering has introduced and permanently maintains the Quality System pursuant to standard CSN EN ISO 9001:2001 and the system of the environmental management in accordance with requirements of the CSN EN ISO 14001 standard.
