BONATRANS GROUP is the biggest European supplier of railway wheelsets and their parts – wheels, axles, tyres.
The company, located in the Czech Republic, supplies about 30% of European need for wheelsets and their parts for all types of rolling stock – locomotives, high speed trains, electric and diesel multiple units, passenger and freight wagons, trams, metro vehicles and special rail vehicles. The company is a reliable partner of national and private railways (such as DB, SNCF, operators in Great Britain, ÖBB, SJ, SBB, SNCB, PKP, ?D, ŽS, MÁV, Northern American Railways, and many others), city transport agencies, OEM manufacturers (such as Bombardier, Alstom, Siemens, GE Transportation, Hyundai Rotem, Vossloh, Talgo and many others), repair shops and railway operators in over 70 countries at 5 continents.
The company has a strong research and development department and also design department with many years' experience in development of wheelset designs for various needs of customers. Significant company designs include high-axleload freight wheelset meeting the most stringent European requirements on safety and reliability of wheelsets braked by composite blocks. In the area of passenger transport and locomotives, BONATRANS GROUP has a number of solutions for virtually all types of rolling stock, including special solutions, such as ”silent” wheels with internal rubber segments for reduction of vibrations, special noise absorbers, products for very high speeds and other applications.
